After RINGFEDER POWER TRANSMISSION and TSCHAN in Neunkirchen have merged their worldwide sales and marketing activities, RINGFEDER has now fully acquired the TSCHAN GmbH and their associated companies effective 1st July 2014.

The two companies complement each other excellently and in this way, through their synergy effects, will continue to expand their leading position in the global market.

TSCHAN GMBH develops, produces and delivers commercially successful shaft-coupling technology, optimised to fulfil customer requirements, worldwide. The company is one of the leading providers of non-shiftable, mechanical shaft couplings. TSCHAN couplings are mainly used in heavy-duty engineering, such as mining and construction machinery, iron and steel production technology, pumps and compressors, cement works and offshore technology, thus complementing the range of couplings supplied by their GERWAH brand, almost without any crossover.

RINGFEDER POWER TRANSMISSION GMBH, with its brands RINGFEDER and ECOLOC, are one of the world's market leaders in locking assemblies and friction springs and their application technology. Nearly all over where a clamping set is used, a coupling is installed upline or downline. The synergies resulting from this strategic alliance with TSCHAN GMBH will not only bring 90 years of German engineering expertise to their company, but will also be a further major step towards a global complete-system provider, covering every aspect of power transmission.

For the customers of both their companies this means having an exclusive sales partner for the whole shaft-coupling and power-transmission system, with a joint sales and marketing network worldwide, and efficient German engineering.
